Our story

A sanctuary, not a program.

Soteria — named for the Greek goddess of safety and deliverance — was built for the girls who needed a place like this and didn't have one. We are coaches, therapists, mentors, and mothers who believe teen girls deserve more than survival skills. They deserve a place where strength is taught alongside softness, and where every girl walks out a little more sure of herself than when she walked in.

Safety, always

Every space we hold — physical and emotional — is built with safety as the floor, not the ceiling.

Belonging over performance

Girls don't have to earn their place here. They already have one.

Skills for the long road

We teach what we wish we'd known at 14 — practical tools that grow with them.

What we believe

Confidence isn't something a girl is born with or without — it's something she practices. Our job is to give her the room, the people, and the tools to practice safely.

We believe a girl who knows how to defend her body also learns to defend her boundaries. A girl who learns to breathe through panic learns to breathe through pressure. And a girl surrounded by other girls becoming themselves becomes herself, faster.
